Book Review: Your Face on a Plate

Recently, I read Your Face on a Plate for a book club I’m in that meets at the best coffee shop around.    I love my book club because it challenges me to read books that I would have never considering reading, such as this book.

First, let me say that I respect a person’s choice to be a vegetarian.  I am not a vegetarian, I tried it for about 2 weeks and decided it wasn’t for me, I like meat.  This book, written by Jeffrey Masson, a vegetarian who writes the book through a lense to persuade the reader that this way of life is the most humane, adding shock value throughout the book.  I disagree with the writer in many of his points.

Rather than continue this post with negative information on the book, I’m just going to let it go with this – I did not enjoy the book and would give it 1 star.  If you read the book, how many stars would you give it?
